About
How to Use
YinYang Anima guides you through deep rhythmic breathing. Each round consists of three phases:
- 1. Rhythmic Breathing: Deep, powerful inhales followed by passive, relaxed exhales. Aim for 30-40 breaths.
- 2. Exhale Retention (The Hold): After the final exhale, hold your breath for as long as comfortable.
- 3. Recovery: Inhale deeply and hold for at least 15-30 seconds to "reset" your system and flood your body with oxygen.
Repeat for 3-5 rounds with each round holding for a little longer on the exhale retention.
The Method
Inspired by the Tummo Breathing Method, this practice combines hyper-oxygenation with periods of stillness. By consciously breathing, you may be able to influence your autonomic nervous system, alkalize your blood, and could strengthen your immune response.
Regular practice can lead to reduced stress, improved focus, and enhanced physical performance through better oxygen delivery.
More studies have come to prove how meditation (focus of the mind), breathwork (spirit) and exposure to cold (self-control) can have a profound effect on the body's ability to heal, repair and restore itself.
The only task missing from this is resting in your heartspace - but this is something only you can choose to feel.
